Tussi Bid Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. it combination medication is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Tussi Bid: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased.
Tussi Bid side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur 1'st several days as you're body adjusts to med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any about these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this drug are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Tussi Bid drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Tussi Bid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

If you missed Tussi Bid dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tussi Bid Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
