Lufyllin Gg Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dyphylline acts to widen air passages in lungs to make breathing easier. it combination medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Lufyllin Gg: Take it drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this med is best taken with a full glass of water after meal or snack.
Lufyllin Gg side effects: Headache, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, anxiety, irritability or nervousness may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to the pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, rash, vomiting, trouble sleeping, dizziness, flushing, tremors, mental confusion. Notify your doctor if you're breathing difficulty continues or worsens. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Lufyllin Gg Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), high blood pressure, history of ulcers or seizures, glaucoma, any allergies. Smoking can reduce the effects of this med. Inform your healthcare professional if you smoke before taking this. Limit your intake of caffeine containing products while taking this medication as it can increase risk of side effects. Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cola, cocoa & chocolate. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts about this drug found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Lufyllin Gg drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: blood pressure medicine, anti-seizure drugs, antibiotics, steroids, thyroid hormones, 'water pills' (diuretics). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Lufyllin Gg Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, irritability, headache, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, irregular heart rate, sweating, and seizures.
Lufyllin Gg special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Lufyllin Gg dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Lufyllin Gg Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
