Econazole Nitrate Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Econazole Nitrate: Clean & dry affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage small amount of medication to affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use the drug as prescribed since full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with bandage only if instructed to do so by youre doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult you're healthcare professional. another drug may be necessary. don't apply this drug into eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Econazole Nitrate side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. this must disappear in several days as your body adjusts to the med. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Econazole Nitrate Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this tablet, tell your doctor if you pregnant or planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Econazole Nitrate drug interactions: Tell your doctor about every prescription & nonprescription tablets you may use, especially about: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Econazole Nitrate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Econazole Nitrate special notes: this medication is prescribed since your current condition only. don't use it for another infection or share it with someone else. other infection later on may require different medicine.

If you missed Econazole Nitrate dose: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Econazole Nitrate Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. do not store in bathroom. Keep out of the reach about children.
