Stannous fluoride 0.63% - dental rinse

Perio medication Usage: Stannous fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay & bacteria that cause cavities. this medication is used to prevent cavities.

How to use Perio drug: this rinse is usually used immediately after brushing or flossing the teeth. Add solution to the 1/8 fluid ounce mark in the mixing vial. Add water to 1 ounce mark & mix. Place 1/2 of solution in to mouth and vigorously swish for 1 minute, than spit out. Repeat the 1 minute treatment with remaining solution and spit out. If you are using a home irrigator, prepare 1 ounce about solution as described above. Pour into irrigator reservoir and add 4 more ounces of water. Mix thoroughly. Use as directed.

Perio drug side effects: Inform your physician if you experience mouth or gum irritation while using this medication. If your teeth become stained or change color, notify your dentist. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache or muscle twitches may occur if this medication is accidentally swallowed. If these symptoms occur, contact your healthcare professional. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Perio drug Precautions: Tell you're physician if you have any pre-existing illnesses: allergies (especially to fluoride), on low-salt diet, live in an region where the drinking water is fluoridated. it fluoride supplement is used when drinking water contains low fluoride levels (less then 0.7 parts per million). this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician.

Perio med med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Perio tablet Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, & loss of consciousness.

Perio pill special notes: Fluoride is found in tea, fluoridated water & fish eaten with bones such as sardines. Adequate toothbrushing should prevent any staining about teeth from occurring.

If you missed Perio medication dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if Its near clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Perio med Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. As with every tablets, keep out about the reach of children.
