    Simular Drugs : Ri Mox, Ri Mox PLUS

    Ri Mox Usage: it is an antacid that works in stomach to neutralize and reduce acid. Antacids used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess about stomach acid; & to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.

    How to use Ri Mox: Take it drug as prescribed. Taking too much of an antacid can reverse effects and more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take the antacid as frequently as all 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by full glass about water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. do not take any other drug within 1 to 2 hours about taking an antacid. since antacids coat stomach, they can prevent other drugs from being absorbed properly if taken at same time.

    Ri Mox side effects: this medication can cause nausea, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your healthcare professional. Notify you're physician if you notice black, tarry stools while taking this med. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Ri Mox Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional some your medical history, especially of: kidney problems.

    Ri Mox drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist about all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: tetracycline, ferrous sulfate (iron), drugs used for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, indomethacin), digoxin, isoniazid, pseudoephedrine, diazepam, methenamine, ketoconazole. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Ri Mox Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea & vomiting, loss about appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss of consciousness.

    Ri Mox special notes: Refrigerating liquid antacids may improve taste. do not freeze. If you dislike taste of one antacid, chat to your pharmacist or pharmacist about switching to similar product. the liquid antacid forms work faster & more effective than other forms. However, chewable tablets may be more convenient.

    If you missed Ri Mox dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Ri Mox Storage: Store tablets, capsules & powdered forms at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about this medication.
