Tussi 12 S Usage: this combination cough suppressant/antihistamine medication is used to treat a cough due to the common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.

How to use Tussi 12 S: Take this drug by mouth usually twice per day as needed; or as directed by your physician. Shake bottle well before each dose. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of clear fluids when you use this drug. the fluid will help to loosen phlegm/mucus in your breathing passages.

Tussi 12 S side effects: Drowsiness, nausea, & dry mouth and throat may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. An allergic reaction to this med is unlikely but seek immediate healthcare professional attention if this occurs. Tussi 12 S Precautions: Tell you're physician you're medical history, especially of: high blood pressure, heart problems, thyroid problems, glaucoma (narrow angle type), prostate problems, any allergies (especially to tartrazine or aspirin). this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this pill in the elderly since they may be more sensitive to tablet side effects. this med must not be used in newborns. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your physician. this drug may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using this tablet is not recommended. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Tussi 12 S medication interactions: Tell your doctor about all prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially: MAO inhibitors used within last two weeks (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine).
