Lucidex Usage: Caffeine is stimulant that is used to help keep you awake and alert. It's also used for certain types of headaches.

How to use Lucidex: Take this med by mouth as directed. don't increase the dose, take this more many times than prescribed or continue using it for prolonged periods.

Lucidex side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, tremor, headache, lightheadedness may occur. big amounts of caffeine may aggravate ulcers, cause frequent urination, flushing, muscle twitch or irritability. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: dizziness, depression, rapid breathing, chest pain, confusion, fatigue. Abrupt stopping of caffeine intake after several weeks of regular per day use can cause withdrawal symptoms such as headache, anxiety or muscle tension within 12 to 18 hours. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Lucidex Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: heart disease, diabetes, anxiety disorders, depression, ulcers, allergies. it medication isnot recommended for use during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. since small amounts about this tablet appear in breast milk, consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Lucidex pill interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: cimetidine, disulfiram, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, birth control meds, diet tablets, decongestants, if you smoke. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or physician approval.

Lucidex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include stomach pain, anxiety, agitation, confusion, irregular or fast heartbeat, frequent urination, muscle twitching, ringing in ears, trouble sleeping, & seizures.

Lucidex special notes: this medication isnt a substitute for normal sleep patterns. It's not to be taken on a routine basis. Be aware about the caffeine content in foods & beverages such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocoa and chocolate.

If you missed Lucidex dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Lucidex Storage: Store away from heat, light & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
