Potassium iodide/ephedrine expectorant

Kie Usage: this medication is used to treat symptoms associated with colds, allergies, sinus infections or another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Kie: Take this by mouth as directed with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) about water, unless your physician directs you otherwise. Take it with meals or snack to reduce stomach upset. don't increase your dose or take this more often then directed since youre condition will not improve any faster but risk of side effects will be increased.
Kie side effects: Headache, nausea, diarrhea, stomach upset or anxiety may occur. If any of these effects continue or become severe, inform your physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, leg weakness, rapid or irregular pulse, skin rash, itching, difficulty urinating, metallic taste, swelling tongue or throat, vomiting, mental confusion, tremors. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Kie Precautions: Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, thyroid disease, tuberculosis, heart disease, asthma, HBP, diabetes, glaucoma, a history of seizures, an enlarged prostate, allergies (especially to drugs or iodine). this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using this medication. this medication passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Kie drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any nonprescription or prescription medication you may take, particularly: lithium, potassium supplements, high blood pressure pills, antidepressants, psychiatric medicines, thyroid hormones, water tablets, furazolidone. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Kie Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Kie special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Kie dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for the following dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Kie Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
