Calcium carbonate antacid - chewable tablets

Alcalak Usage: this medication is an antacid used to relieve upset stomach, heartburn or gas caused by stomach acid.
How to use Alcalak: Take it by mouth as directed. Chew thoroughly & swallow. do not swallow pills whole. Follow each dose with full glass of water. do not increase dose or take this more often than prescribed. If you feel your dose is not effective, consult your doctor.
Alcalak side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated. Constipation or stomach cramps may occur. Notify you're physician if they continue or become severe. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: loss of appetite, vomiting, dizziness, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Alcalak Precautions: Before taking this, tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, any allergies. Avoid taking more doses than recommended. this pill is considered safe for use during pregnancy or breast-feeding when used as directed.
Alcalak drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional about any nonprescription or prescription medication you may take including: certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones), demeclocycline, methacycline, verapamil (a calcium channel blocker), quinidine, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, iron-containing products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Alcalak Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, loss about appetite, tiredness, and weakness.
Alcalak special notes: there various forms about this medication available. the chewable tablets offer convenience but the liquid form is faster acting. talk to you're health care provider or pharmacist about best product for you. If your condition does not improve or worsens, contact your doctor or pharmacist. If your stools become dark in color or you vomit what looks like coffee grounds, contact your physician as these may be signs of stomach bleeding
If you missed Alcalak dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered do not take it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Alcalak Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. don't store in bathroom.
