    Eye lubricant - ophthalmic

    Lubricant Eye Drops Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.

    How to use Lubricant Eye Drops: Use it drug in the eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place the dropper directly over the eye and administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner about eye near nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye. for ointment, hold tube directly over eye and gently squeeze small ribbon about ointment into the eye. Slowly roll your eye in all directions to spread ointment. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying another medications.

    Lubricant Eye Drops side effects: this drug may temporarily sting you're eyes when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome or condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within few days, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily unstable for few minutes after applying this. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify youre doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Lubricant Eye Drops Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this drug. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult your doctor before you breast-feed.

    Lubricant Eye Drops drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may use, especially about: other eye med. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

    Lubricant Eye Drops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Lubricant Eye Drops special notes: few products contain preservatives which can cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various products with you're health care professional.

    If you missed Lubricant Eye Drops dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Lubricant Eye Drops Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if the solution isn't clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
