    Ibuprofen child Usage: Ibuprofen is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which relieves pain & swelling (inflammation). it is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this medication is also used to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches and pain due to common cold or flu. this drug works by blocking the enzyme in your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, & fever. do not give this pill to a child younger than two years of age unless directed to do so by the pharmacist.

    How to use Ibuprofen child: Shake bottle well before each dose. Measure out each dose carefully & take it medication by mouth with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your pharmacist directs you otherwise. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this pill. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. in children, the dosage is also based on weight. Read product instructions to find the appropriate dose for your child's weight, or consult the pharmacist or pharmacist if you have questions. If repeat doses needed, they are usually given six or 8 hours apart; or as directed by pharmacist. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before full benefits of it drug take effect. If you use it med for migraine headache, & pain isn't relieved or worsens after 1st dose, tell youre doctor immediately. If you are treating yourself or giving this medication to child for undiagnosed fever or pain, consult the healthcare professional immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Ibuprofen child side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, and dizziness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional or pharmacist promptly. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding. Tell you're pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. it med may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen and consult you're doctor or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. this medication may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of next highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult your doctor or physician immediately: yellowing eyes & skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Ibuprofen children Precautions: this medication must not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult youre doctor or physician if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this medication, tell your healthcare professional or healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), HBP, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in nose (nasal polyps), history of an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medicine may cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol & tobacco, especially when combined with it medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Consult youre healthcare professional or pharmacist for more information. this med may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. this product may contain sugar. Caution is advised if you have diabetes. Ask you're pharmacist or pharmacist about the safe use about it product. Caution is advised when using it med in elderly because they may be more sensitive to side effects of drug, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during the first six months of pregnancy. it isn't recommended for use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to the potential for serious harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss risks and benefits with you're doctor. this drug passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Ibuprofen kid med interactions: Before using this medication, tell your pharmacist or pharmacist of every prescription and nonprescription products you may use, especially of: alendronate, other medications for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, high blood pressure drugs (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). check all prescription & nonprescription medicine labels carefully since much contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which similar to this med. If you are also taking aspirin, as prescribed by your doctor for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages are 81-325 mg per day), continue to take the aspirin & consult your doctor or physician before using ibuprofen. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.

    Ibuprofen kid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Ibuprofen kid special notes: do not share it medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or money for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.

    If you missed Ibuprofen child dose: If you prescribed this drug on regular schedule (not just 'as needed') and you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Ibuprofen child Storage: Store at room temperature according to product directions away from light and moisture. do not store in bathroom. Keep every medicines away from child & pets.
