Albuterol Sulfate Usage: it medication relaxes smooth muscle in lungs & dilates airways to improve breathing. it is used in treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
How to use Albuterol Sulfate: Oral medication may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Take this medication exactly as prescribed. don't take it more frequently without youre doctor's approval. Excessive use may result in decreased efficacy & increased side effects.
Albuterol Sulfate side effects: Dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, heartburn, loss about appetite, altered taste sensation, restlessness, anxiety, nervousness, trembling or sweating may occur but should subside as youre body adjust to medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: chest pain, palpitations, vomiting, breathing difficulties. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.
Albuterol Sulfate Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: heart disease, HBP, an overactive thyroid gland, epilepsy, diabetes. Tell youre pharmacist if you ever had a bad reaction to bitolterol, ephedrine, epinephrine, metaproterenol, phenylephrine, phenylpropanolamine, pseudoephedrine, or terbutaline. many nonprescription goods contain these pills (e.g., diet pills & medication for colds and asthma), so check labels carefully. do not take any of these medications without consulting your pharmacist (even if you never had problem taking them before). do not allow anyone else to take it tablet. Before you use this drug, tell you're pharmacist if you pregnant or breast-feeding. this tablet must not be used unless clearly needed if you are pregnant.
Albuterol Sulfate drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: drugs used for asthma, antidepressants, cold medications, beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol). do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Albuterol Sulfate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, quick irregular heart rate, nervousness, dizziness, fatigue, sleeplessness, headache, tremors, dry mouth, nausea, or chest pain.
Albuterol Sulfate special notes: If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking this medication, call your healthcare professional immediately.
If you missed Albuterol Sulfate dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if this is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Albuterol Sulfate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. some products may require refrigeration. see packaging for exact storage directions, or check with some your pharmacist.
