Tussi 12 Usage: it combination cough suppressant/antihistamine medication is used to treat cough due to the common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.
How to use Tussi 12: Take this medication by mouth usually twice daily as needed; or as directed by your doctor. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of clear fluids when you use this medication. fluid will help to loosen phlegm/mucus in your breathing passages.
Tussi 12 side effects: Drowsiness, nausea, and dry mouth and nose may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify you're pharmacist. An allergic reaction to this med is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or doctor.
Tussi 12 Precautions: Tell some your doctor youre medical history, especially about: high blood pressure, heart problems, thyroid problems, glaucoma (narrow angle type), prostate problems, any allergies. this tablet may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this medication in the elderly for they may be more sensitive to drug side effects. this medication should not be used in newborns. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. this drug may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using this med is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Tussi 12 drug interactions: Tell some your pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: MAO inhibitors used within the last two weeks (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Tell your pharmacist if you take any drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti- anxiety medications (e.g., diazepam, lorazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine, morphine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine or tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine, topiramate), muscle relaxants, certain other antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). cash the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask some your doctor about the safe use of these products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Tussi 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, deep sleep, seizures.

If you missed Tussi 12 dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near the time of following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Tussi 12 Storage: Store at room temperature between 68 & 77 degrees F (20 & 25 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
