Pseudovent Ped Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Pseudovent Ped: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Pseudovent Ped side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1'st several days as youre body adjusts to drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Pseudovent Ped Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. it isn't known if this med appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Pseudovent Ped drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug since depression, medication for hypertension. Tell you're doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Pseudovent Ped Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Pseudovent Ped dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock since next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Pseudovent Ped Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
