Hm Antihist Decongestant Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Hm Antihist Decongestant: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your doctor. don't increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Hm Antihist Decongestant side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Hm Antihist Decongestant Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, hypertension, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. USD this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. do not give this tablet to a children younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Hm Antihist Decongestant pill interactions: Tell your doctor what tablets you take, especially of: HBP drugs, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy med. don't take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Hm Antihist Decongestant Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Hm Antihist Decongestant dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
