Pseudovent DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses a cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination drug is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Pseudovent DM: it med is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack. Swallow long acting tablets & capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased. Take this tablet as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Pseudovent DM side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or physician.
Pseudovent DM Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any pill allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. this drug may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Pseudovent DM drug interactions: Tell your physician of every prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially: med since blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this med. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Pseudovent DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, big pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Pseudovent DM special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Pseudovent DM dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Pseudovent DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
