Hm Anti Diarrheal Usage: this medication is used to treat diarrhea or to reduce the amount about discharge in patients who have undergone an ileostomy.

How to use Hm Anti Diarrheal: Take this pill by mouth exactly as directed. do not increase your dose or take this longer than directed without you're doctor's approval. in acute diarrhea this is usually taken for only 2 days. Treatment about chronic diarrhea may continue for up to 10 days. Notify some your pharmacist if diarrhea does not stop after several days. While taking it medication, drink plenty of clear liquids to replace fluid loss from diarrhea & prevent dehydration.

Hm Anti Diarrheal side effects: Stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, bloating, constipation, dry mouth, drowsiness or dizziness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, contact your pharmacist promptly. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Tell your doctor immediately if you have this unlikely but serious side effect: stomach pain. An allergic reaction to it med is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Hm Anti Diarrheal Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: liver problems, ulcerative colitis, if you have recently taken antibiotics, allergies (especially drug allergies). this medication may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol intake because this can intensify dizziness or drowsiness effects of this tablet. Use this tablet cautiously at children. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre physician. It's not known if this pill appears in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Hm Anti Diarrheal drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: cholestyramine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or doctor approval.

Hm Anti Diarrheal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, slowed breathing, drowsiness or deep sleep, & slow pulse.

Hm Anti Diarrheal special notes: this medication must not be used longer than two days with out notifying your doctor. don't treat children under six years about age without doctor's approval.

If you missed Hm Anti Diarrheal dose: Take each dose as directed. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Hm Anti Diarrheal Storage: Store this medication at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at bathroom. Keep it & all meds out of reach of children.
