Guaifenesin/decongestant - oral liquid

Guaifed Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Guaifed: Take this medication by mouth as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer then prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Guaifed side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur the first few days as youre body adjusts to drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify some your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.
Guaifed Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. this is not known if this medication appears at breast milk; consult youre physician before breast-feeding.
Guaifed drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, HBP drugs. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Guaifed Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Guaifed special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Guaifed dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if Its almost clock since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Guaifed Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
