Calcium carbonate antacid - chewable tablets

Chooz Usage: this medication is an antacid used to relieve upset stomach, heartburn or gas caused by stomach acid.
How to use Chooz: Take this by mouth as directed. Chew thoroughly & swallow. do not swallow meds whole. Follow each dose with a full glass of water. do not increase the dose or take this more often than prescribed. If you feel your dose isn't effective, consult your doctor.
Chooz side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated. Constipation or stomach cramps may occur. Notify youre doctor if they continue or become severe. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: loss of appetite, vomiting, dizziness, headache. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Chooz Precautions: Before taking this, tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, any allergies. Avoid taking more doses then recommended. this medication is considered safe for use during pregnancy or breast-feeding when used as directed.
Chooz medication interactions: Tell some your doctor about any nonprescription or prescription medication you may take including: certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones), demeclocycline, methacycline, verapamil (a calcium channel blocker), quinidine, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, iron-containing products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Chooz Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, tiredness, & weakness.
Chooz special notes: there various forms of this medication available. chewable tablets offer convenience but the liquid form is faster acting. talk to your health care provider or physician about best product for you. If your condition does not improve or worsens, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist. If your stools become dark in color or you vomit what looks like coffee grounds, contact you're doctor as these may be signs of stomach bleeding
If you missed Chooz dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered do not take it if it is near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Chooz Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not store at the bathroom.
