Nose Drops Usage: this pill promotes nasal drainage & relieves nasal stuffiness. Its used to relieve symptoms associated with a cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. it is also used to relieve plugged ears.
How to use Nose Drops: this medication is used in nose as directed. To apply nasal drops, 1st blow your nose to help improve penetration of the medication. Lie flat on a bed or couch with some your head hanging over the edge. Apply the correct number of drops to each nostril affected being careful not to touch the container to inside of nostril. Move your head from side to side for minute or two. do not use this more often than directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use of this drug can actually increase nasal congestion.
Nose Drops side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying about nostrils, and altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify some your healthcare professional if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of hands, tremors, unusual weakness. this medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Nose Drops Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: history of heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, seizure disorder, glaucoma, any allergies (especially to sulfites). the elderly & kid may be more susceptible to the effects of this medication. Use this with caution. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Nose Drops drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, especially: HBP medicine, anti-depressants, cough-and-cold medicine, allergy med. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Nose Drops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.

If you missed Nose Drops dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Nose Drops Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at the bathroom. don't share container with anyone else. Throw away the container when medication is no longer required.
