Kg Tussin Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. it combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Kg Tussin: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. this tablet is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Kg Tussin side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur first some days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Kg Tussin Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history about drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this med causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. for small amounts of this pill found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Kg Tussin medication interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure meds, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain med (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Kg Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Kg Tussin special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Kg Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if this is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Kg Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
