Velosef Usage: this medication is an antibiotic that is used to treat a variety about bacterial infections.
How to use Velosef: Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at constant level. Do this by taking medication in evenly spaced intervals throughout the day & night. this medication works best when taken on an empty stomach. However, if stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food. Continue to take it medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting at relapse about the infection.
Velosef side effects: this med may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, & vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional promptly. Unlikely to occur but report promptly: fever, easy bleeding or bruising, change in the amount about urine, seizures. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate healthcare attention if this occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.
Velosef Precautions: Before taking this medication, tell your physician if you are allergic to any medications, especially: penicillins, cephalosporins. Inform your doctor of any medical conditions, especially of: kidney disease. Use of it medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Caution is advised when using it medication in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to side effects of med. Tell youre pharmacist if you pregnant before using this med. this med is excreted in to breast milk. Though no problems have been noted, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Velosef medication interactions: Tell you're pharmacist of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: tablet since gout (e.g., probenecid). this medication may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods about birth control with your doctor. Cephalosporins may cause false positive results in tests for sugar in urine. Diabetics should use Clinistix rather than Clinitest tablets. Blood sugar testing isnt affected. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Velosef Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.
Velosef special notes: it medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give this to someone else. different medication may be necessary.
If you missed Velosef dose: If you must miss dose, take this as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for following dose. If It's nearly clock for the next dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
Velosef Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in bathroom.
