Hm Antacid Antigas Usage: this is an antacid that works in stomach to neutralize & reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess of stomach acid; and to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.

How to use Hm Antacid Antigas: Take it drug as prescribed. Taking too many an antacid can reverse the effects and more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take antacid as frequently as every 1 to two hours. To be effective, chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by full glass of water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. do not take any other drug within 1 to two hours of taking an antacid. for antacids coat stomach, they can prevent another drugs from being absorbed properly if taken at the same time.

If you missed Hm Antacid Antigas dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
