    Guaifenesin/decongestant/narcotic antitussive liquid - oral

    Kg Fed Pediatric Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. the decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. this combination med is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Kg Fed Pediatric: this med is best taken with, or after, a meal or snack. Take this drug as prescribed. don't increase your dose or take it more often than directed.

    Kg Fed Pediatric side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

    Kg Fed Pediatric Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. at least one of the ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Kg Fed Pediatric medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Kg Fed Pediatric Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

    Kg Fed Pediatric special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it drug. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Kg Fed Pediatric dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Kg Fed Pediatric Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
