Expectorant Max Strength Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Expectorant Max Strength: Take this medication as prescribed. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.

Expectorant Max Strength side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or pharmacist.

Expectorant Max Strength Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart disease, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially drug allergies). money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Expectorant Max Strength drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, drugs used to reduce weight, heart medication, drug that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't use it product together with an MAO inhibitor, or since two weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Expectorant Max Strength Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

Expectorant Max Strength special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Expectorant Max Strength dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Expectorant Max Strength Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
