Antihistamines with decongestants - oral
R M Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use a R M: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Its recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify youre healthcare professional. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
R M side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify you're physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
R M Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this med to kid younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
R M tablet interactions: Tell your doctor what meds you take, especially of: high blood pressure tablets, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy drug. don't take this tablet if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
R M Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
R M special notes: don't share it product with others.
If you missed R M dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
R M Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
