Decon Antihist Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Decon Antihist: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.
Decon Antihist side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify you're doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.
Decon Antihist Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. money this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this drug to a children younger than six years about age unless directed to do so by a pharmacist.
Decon Antihist drug interactions: Tell your physician what medications you take, especially about: high blood pressure meds, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain tablet, another cold or allergy medication. do not take this pill if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or doctor approval.
Decon Antihist Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Decon Antihist special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Decon Antihist dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
