Stay Awake Alertness Aid Usage: Caffeine is stimulant that is used to help keep you awake & alert. It's also used for certain types of headaches.
How to use Stay Awake Alertness Aid: Take this drug by mouth as directed. don't increase the dose, take this more many times than prescribed or continue using this for prolonged periods.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, tremor, headache, lightheadedness may occur. large amounts about caffeine may aggravate ulcers, cause frequent urination, flushing, muscle twitch or irritability. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you experience: dizziness, depression, rapid breathing, chest pain, confusion, fatigue. Abrupt stopping of caffeine intake after few weeks of regular per day use may cause withdrawal symptoms such as headache, anxiety or muscle tension within 12 to 18 hours. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or physician.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: heart disease, diabetes, anxiety disorders, depression, ulcers, allergies. this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of this drug appear in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid pill interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: cimetidine, disulfiram, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, birth control tablets, diet pills, decongestants, if you smoke. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include stomach pain, anxiety, agitation, confusion, irregular or fast heartbeat, frequent urination, muscle twitching, ringing in the ears, trouble sleeping, and seizures.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid special notes: this medication isn't substitute for normal sleep patterns. this is not to be taken on a routine basis. Be aware of caffeine content in foods & beverages such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocoa & chocolate.
If you missed Stay Awake Alertness Aid dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Stay Awake Alertness Aid Storage: Store away from heat, light & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
