Guaicon Dms Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Guaicon Dms: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase youre dose or take it more many times than directed. Capsules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with full glass about water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed and the chance of side effects will be increased.

Guaicon Dms side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the 1-st several days as some your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Guaicon Dms drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Guaicon Dms Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

If you missed Guaicon Dms dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
