Caverject Usage: it med is used to treat impotence.

How to use Caverject: it drug is administered by injection in to the penis as directed. It's recommended that this medication be used no more than 3 times week allowing at least 24 hours between uses. You must be trained on proper injection technique since self-injection. Read the manufacturer's patient instructions & follow directions carefully. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist to explain anything you do not understand. do not change your dose or use this more often then directed. Alternate sides of penis when injecting & vary the site of injection. do not use if the solution is cloudy, colored or contains particles. Properly discard needles, syringes and unused solution after each use.

Caverject side effects: it medication may cause mild pain, irritation or slight bleeding at the injection site. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify you're physician if you develop: tenderness or swelling of the penis, redness/lumps/unusual curving of the penis. erection should last of one hour. If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek immeditial medical attention. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Caverject Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, including: sickle cell anemia, cancer, leukemia, multiple myeloma, penile implants, an abnormally formed penis, kidney disease, any allergies you have. this medication is not to be used by women or children.

Caverject medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may use, including: blood thinners. don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Caverject Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include prolonged erection lasting over four hours.

Caverject special notes: this med produces an erection in three to 20 minutes which should last for of one hour. Keep every doctor's visits as you will be scheduled since checkups to monitor the effectiveness and safety about medication.

If you missed Caverject dose: Use this drug only as directed. it isnot used on scheduled basis.
