Declomycin Usage: Demeclocycline is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety about bacterial infections. it is also used to treat acne and to prevent 'traveler's diarrhea'.

Declomycin canbe used also for: this drug may also be used for special cases about fluid retention (SIADH).

How to use Declomycin: this medication works best if taken on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals. Take each dose with a full glass about water (4oz. or 120ml) or more. do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this drug. this may be taken with food if stomach upset occurs unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Take this medication 2-3 hours before or after taking any products containing magnesium, aluminum, or calcium. several examples include quinapril, didanosine, vitamins/minerals, and antacids. Dairy products (e.g., milk, yogurt), calcium-enriched juice, sucralfate, bismuth subsalicylate, iron, and zinc are also included. These products bind with demeclocycline preventing Its full absorption. this medication works best when amount of medicine in you're body is kept at constant level. Do it by taking medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. When using this for an infection, continue to take it drug until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping the drug too early may result in relapse about the infection. If you using this for fluid retention due to SIADH, take this exactly as directed by your physician.

Declomycin side effects: this pill can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, headache or vomiting. If these symptoms persist or worsen, notify youre doctor. Very unlikely but report promptly: stomach pain, yellowing eyes or skin, vision changes, mental changes, increased urination. this med may increase sensitivity to sunlight. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this med, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Declomycin Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney or liver problems, diabetes insipidus, trouble swallowing or esophagus problems (e.g., hiatal hernia, GERD), any allergies you may have. Use about this drug for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection) or sore throat while taking this medication. it drug may make you more prone to sunburn. Wear protective clothing & sunscreen if needed. this drug shouldn't be used by children up to 8 years of age because It's use may permanently discolor theyre teeth or cause other problems. Caution is advised in older kid also. this tablet isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before using it tablet. this med is excreted into breast milk & has been shown to have undesirable effects on nursing infants. Therefore, Its use isnt recommended while breast-feeding. Consult some your pharmacist before you breast-feed.

Declomycin medication interactions: Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially about: vitamins/minerals (e.g., magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, zinc), quinapril, didanosine, antacids, sucralfate, bismuth subsalicylate, digoxin, penicillin-related medications, live vaccines, cimetidine, warfarin, methoxyflurane. this medicine may decrease the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. Consult some your physician or doctor about another types of birth control. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Declomycin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Declomycin special notes: this medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. different tablet may be necessary.

If you missed Declomycin dose: If you should miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered unless It's almost time for following dose. If it is nearly time for following dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Declomycin Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom. Discard any unused tablet. dollars drug's expiration date. Taking outdated demeclocycline can result in serious illness.
