Ron Acid Usage: Magaldrate is an antacid. it neutralizes & reduces stomach acid relieving heartburn and indigestion. it is used to treat an upset stomach, ulcers, hiatal hernia & other digestive disorders.

How to use Ron Acid: Take it drug as directed usually between meals and at bedtime. do not take more of this than prescribed. Too much about antacid can actually increase amount of acid the stomach produces. the liquid form should be shaken well before pouring each dose. Chewable tablets are to be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. Follow with glass of water. Non-chewable tablets must be swallowed whole followed with a glass about water.

Ron Acid side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated. Loss of appetite, diarrhea or constipation may occur. Notify your doctor if you develop: vomiting of coffee ground- like material, dark urine, tar-like stools. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.

Ron Acid Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: stomach disorders, kidney disease, allergies. it medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. Consult youre healthcare professional before using any drug while breast-feeding.

Ron Acid drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take, especially of: iron, tetracycline, oral antidiabetic tablet, digoxin. Avoid taking any drug within 1 to two hours of taking an antacid. antacid may interfere with the absorption of the tablet. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

Ron Acid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Ron Acid dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Ron Acid Storage: Store tablets and capsules at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. liquid form of this medication may be stored in the refrigerator to improve taste.
