Chlor Trimeton Decongestant Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Chlor Trimeton Decongestant: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Sustained-release or long acting tablets & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy the long action and may increase side effects. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication, unless youre physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify youre doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended.
Chlor Trimeton Decongestant side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: trouble breathing, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Chlor Trimeton Decongestant Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, diabetes, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, overactive thyroid gland. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding. check other medicines you take for duplications. do not drink alcoholic beverages. don't give extended-release tablets to children younger than 12 years of age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Chlor Trimeton Decongestant pill interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially medication since: high blood pressure, seizures, depression. Tell your pharmacist if you use any medications that make you drowsy such as: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine), another cold or allergy drugs. do not take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Chlor Trimeton Decongestant Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Chlor Trimeton Decongestant dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
