    Irritant or stimulant laxatives - oral

    Simular Drugs : Perdiem, Perdiem, Perdiem Fiber

    Perdiem Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives are used to treat constipation & to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

    How to use Perdiem: Take each dose with a full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug. Chewable pills are to be chewed thoroughly. tablets are to be swallowed whole with full glass about water. Wafers are to be chewed. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

    Perdiem side effects: this medication can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify some your doctor if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. this drug can cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. don't be alarmed. Its not harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or doctor.

    Perdiem Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives are an alternative. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. Consult your physician before using any medication while breast-feeding.

    Perdiem med interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of few medications, it is important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid use of dairy products or antacids within one hour of taking bisacodyl pills. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Perdiem Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack about feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

    Perdiem special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, It's important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase youre intake of fiber & roughage and exercise regularly.

    If you missed Perdiem dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Perdiem Storage: Different brands of it medication may have different storage requirements. Refer to the package labeling or ask you're pharmacist for specific storage requirements for brand you are using.
