Warning: do not use oral and/or injectable ketorolac for mild or chronic pain nor should they're combined use go longer than three days. Use only amount prescribed. do not use this drug if you in labor, breast-feeding, have stomach problems (e.g., peptic ulcer), major kidney problems, bleeding problems, severe dehydration, or if you are having surgery. do not use ketorolac while using aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen). 'Blood thinners' (e.g., heparin, warfarin) should be used with extreme caution. do not use ketorolac if you allergic to aspirin, NSAID or ketorolac itself. Elderly patients, those weighing less than 110-lbs (50kg), and those with mild kidney problems require smaller doses. Consult your doctor.

Ketorolac Tromethamine Usage: Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that relieves pain & reduces swelling. it is used to treat moderate to severe pain usually after surgery.
How to use Ketorolac Tromethamine: Oral ketorolac should be used only after you have already used the injectable form of ketorolac. If you have been prescribed oral form of ketorolac without 1st having received injectable form, promptly consult your physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Though Its very unlikely to occur, a severe allergic reaction is possible after taking first dose (see Side Effects section--allergic reaction). the Canadian manufacturer of toradol states that it may be used instead of IV form; i.e., youre entire therapy may be with oral form of toradol. Take this pill as directed. do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed without your doctor's approval. this drug is used for only a short period of time. the combined use of injectable ketorolac & oral ketorolac should not exceed 5 days. Take this medication with food, milk or antacids to prevent stomach upset. Take this medication with 6 to 8 ounces (180-240ml) about water. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug.
Ketorolac Tromethamine side effects: Stomach upset is most common side effect. Vomiting, bloating, gas, loss of appetite, dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, may also occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist promptly. Inform your doctor promptly if you develop: ringing in the ear, vision changes. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking it med & consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/ abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.

Ketorolac Tromethamine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, dark stool, ringing in ears, change in amount of urine, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, muscle weakness, slow or shallow breathing, confusion, severe headache or loss of consciousness.

If you missed Ketorolac Tromethamine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule.
