Decongestant/narcotic antitussive/antihistamine - oral

De Chlor Mr Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use De Chlor Mr: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. this drug is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

De Chlor Mr side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first few days as some your body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.

De Chlor Mr Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of medication dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this med causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. for small amounts of this tablet are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

De Chlor Mr drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: blood pressure tablets, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain med (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

De Chlor Mr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

De Chlor Mr special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed De Chlor Mr dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

De Chlor Mr Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
