Oxyir Usage: it med is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
How to use Oxyir: Take by mouth exactly as directed by youre physician. Take with food or milk to minimize or prevent stomach upset. it drug is usually taken every 12 to 6 hours (2 to 4 times daily). do not increase youre dose, take it more frequently or use this for longer period of time than prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of clock, do not suddenly stop using it medication without your doctor's approval. Over time, this med may not work as well as it did at beginning. Consult your doctor if this medication isn't relieving the pain sufficiently.
Oxyir side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, stomach upset, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea & flushing. If these effects persist or worsen, contact you're pharmacist. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. at unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or doctor.
Oxyir Precautions: Before using this medication, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: severe diarrhea, stomach or intestinal disorders, breathing problems, kidney or liver disease, history about alcohol use, medication dependence, any drug allergies. Alcoholic beverages may increase effects of it drug causing dizziness or lightheadedness. Limit alcohol intake. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of this drug. the tablet must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. Oxycodone is excreted into breast milk. Though no problems have been reported in nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Oxyir drug interactions: Before using this drug, tell you're physician of every the drugs you may use, both prescription and nonprescription, especially of: cimetidine, other narcotic pain relievers, sleep medications, medications for mental/mood conditions, alcohol use. many cough-and-cold preparations contain ingredients that may add to drowsiness effects about oxycodone. Consult your pharmacist or pharmacist before using any such medications. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Oxyir Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include cold & clammy skin, low body temperature, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, deep sleep, & loss of consciousness.
Oxyir special notes: do not share this medication with others. this is against the law.
If you missed Oxyir dose: If you should miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered unless this is almost time for next dose. If It's nearly time for next dose, skip the missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.
Oxyir Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
