    Guaifenesin with dextromethorphan - oral

    Muco Fen 800 DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination med is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Muco Fen 800 DM: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more much times then directed. Capsules & long-acting pills should be swallowed whole with full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed and chance of side effects will be increased.

    Muco Fen 800 DM side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss about appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the 1st some days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify some your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or doctor.

    Muco Fen 800 DM Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre doctor. since small amounts about it medication are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Muco Fen 800 DM drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Muco Fen 800 DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Muco Fen 800 DM special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Muco Fen 800 DM dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Muco Fen 800 DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
