Chlor Trimeton Usage: Pseudoephedrine is used to provide relief from nasal or sinus congestion caused by allergies or the common cold, or ear congestion caused by inflammation or infection.
How to use Chlor Trimeton: It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug, unless you're doctor instructs you to do otherwise. Sustained-release or long acting pills & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action & may increase side effects. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended.
Chlor Trimeton side effects: can cause dizziness, headache, quick or pounding heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, difficult or painful urination, sweating, nervousness, restlessness, or trouble sleeping. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist, become severe or bothersome, inform your physician. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Chlor Trimeton Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart problems, kidney or liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Pseudoephedrine passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Using this drug while breast-feeding isnt recommended.
Chlor Trimeton drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, pill for depression, HBP medications. Tell you're pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

If you missed Chlor Trimeton dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered if within an hour. If you do not remember until later, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the doses.
Chlor Trimeton Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at bathroom.
