Tolu Sed DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Tolu Sed DM: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more much times than directed. Capsules & long-acting meds must be swallowed whole with a full glass about water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.

Tolu Sed DM side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this med: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this drug makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.

Tolu Sed DM Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. for small amounts of it medication are found in breast milk, consult you're physician before breast-feeding.

Tolu Sed DM drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Tolu Sed DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, and seizures.

Tolu Sed DM special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Tolu Sed DM dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Tolu Sed DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
