Dextromethorphan w/decongestant - oral

Buckley's DM Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Buckley's DM: Take it medication as prescribed. don't increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.

Buckley's DM side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first several days as your body adjusts to pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify youre doctor if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Buckley's DM Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially drug allergies). cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. since small amounts of it drug are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Buckley's DM drug interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, drugs used to reduce weight, heart med, drug that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or since two weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Buckley's DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

Buckley's DM special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Buckley's DM dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Buckley's DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
