Albatussin Pediatric Usage: Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Albatussin Pediatric: Take this med as prescribed. do not increase youre dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.
Albatussin Pediatric side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or physician.

Albatussin Pediatric medication interactions: Tell you're doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, drugs used to reduce weight, heart pill, medication that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use it product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for two weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.
Albatussin Pediatric Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.
Albatussin Pediatric special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Albatussin Pediatric dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Albatussin Pediatric Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
