Pseudoephedrine Sinus Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Pseudoephedrine Sinus: Take this tablet by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Pseudoephedrine Sinus side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. Pseudoephedrine Sinus Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if it tablet appears in breast milk; consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Pseudoephedrine Sinus medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, tablet for HBP. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Pseudoephedrine Sinus Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Pseudoephedrine Sinus dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
