Oxyfast Usage: this medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
How to use Oxyfast: Take by mouth exactly as directed by your pharmacist. Take with food or milk to minimize or prevent stomach upset. this med is usually taken every 12 to 6 hours (2 to 4 times daily). do not increase you're dose, take it more frequently or use it for longer period about time than prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period about time, do not suddenly stop using this drug with-out your doctor's approval. Over time, this med may not work as well as it did at beginning. Consult your pharmacist if this drug isnt relieving pain sufficiently.
Oxyfast side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, stomach upset, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea and flushing. If these effects persist or worsen, contact some your pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Oxyfast Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: severe diarrhea, stomach or intestinal disorders, breathing problems, kidney or liver disease, history of alcohol use, drug dependence, any drug allergies. Alcoholic beverages may increase effects of this medication causing dizziness or lightheadedness. Limit alcohol intake. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness such as driving. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of this medication. the medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. Oxycodone is excreted into breast milk. Though no problems have been reported in nursing infants, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Oxyfast drug interactions: Before using it tablet, tell some your physician of all the drugs you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially of: cimetidine, other narcotic pain relievers, sleep tablets, drugs for mental/mood conditions, alcohol use. much cough-and-cold preparations contain ingredients that may add to drowsiness effects of oxycodone. Consult your doctor or physician before using any such drugs. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Oxyfast Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include cold and clammy skin, low body temperature, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, deep sleep, and loss of consciousness.
Oxyfast special notes: do not share it drug with others. it is against law.
If you missed Oxyfast dose: If you should miss dose, take this as soon as remembered unless Its almost time for the following dose. If It's nearly clock for following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
Oxyfast Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
