Clemastine Fumarate Usage: it medication is an antihistamine & is used for allergy symptoms such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing.

How to use Clemastine Fumarate: Take it drug as prescribed. do not take it more often than directed. tablets should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. a syrup form of it medication is available. Ask your pharmacist for a specially marked measuring spoon to be sure of the correct dose. this medication may be taken with food to help prevent stomach upset.

Clemastine Fumarate side effects: this drug may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, vision changes, irritability, dry mouth, or dry nose. These effects should disappear as your body adjusts to pill. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Notify some your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or doctor.

Clemastine Fumarate Precautions: Before using clemastine, consult with youre doctor if you have any of following: asthma, lung disease, ulcers, glaucoma, overactive thyroid, difficulty urinating, enlarged prostate, high blood pressure, history about seizures, heart disease, allergies (especially drug allergies). don't take for few days before allergy testing as test results can be affected. Limit the use of alcohol to prevent excessive drowsiness. Use caution when using machinery or engaging in activities that require alertness. it pill can cause dizziness, especially when arising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly. Elderly persons may be more sensitive to effects of it pill & may require lower doses. Clemastine should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. Clemastine is excreted into breast milk & this is recommended you do not breast-feed while taking this medication. Clemastine Fumarate drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, narcotic pain drug, another medications for colds/allergies/hay fever, tablets for seizures. Tell you're healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Clemastine Fumarate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, flushing, fever, weakness, tremor, muscle twitching, loss about consciousness, and seizures. at kid, excitement may occur 1'st followed by loss of coordination, drowsiness, loss about consciousness, & seizures.

If you missed Clemastine Fumarate dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered. If this is almost time for the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Clemastine Fumarate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid form.
