Tolnaftate Af Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Tolnaftate Af: Clean & dry the affected area before applying tablet. To apply, gently massage a small amount about drug to the affected region & surrounding skin. Continue to use med as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by you're doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after 4 weeks, consult youre physician. another med may be necessary. do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Tolnaftate Af side effects: this med can cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. this should disappear at several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or physician.

Tolnaftate Af Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this medication, tell some your physician if you are pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Tolnaftate Af drug interactions: Tell your doctor about every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.

Tolnaftate Af Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Tolnaftate Af special notes: it med is prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require different medicine.

If you missed Tolnaftate Af dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Tolnaftate Af Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. don't store in the bathroom. Keep out about reach about children.
