Ketoconazole Usage: it medication is used to treat fungal skin infection.

How to use Ketoconazole: Clean and dry the affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount about the tablet to the affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after 2 - 4 weeks, consult youre doctor. another medication may be necessary.

Ketoconazole side effects: this pill may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to skin. this should disappear in some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Ketoconazole Precautions: Be sure your doctor knows your medical history, especially of: allergies. this med should be used cautiously during pregnancy only if clearly needed. this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with youre doctor before breast-feeding. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using it cream.

Ketoconazole drug interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Ketoconazole Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ketoconazole special notes: it med is prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it since another infection or share it with someone else. other infection later on may require a different medicine.

If you missed Ketoconazole dose: Apply the missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for following dose. If it is time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume you're regular schedule.

Ketoconazole Storage: Store cream at room temperature. Keep away from moisture & sunlight. do not freeze.
