Tolnaftate Usage: this med is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Tolnaftate: Clean and dry the affected area before applying med. To apply, gently massage little of the pill to affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use drug as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. another medication may be necessary. don't apply this drug into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Tolnaftate side effects: it medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. it should disappear in few days as you're body adjusts to the drug. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.

Tolnaftate Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this med, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Tolnaftate drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription and nonprescription meds you may use, especially of: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Tolnaftate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Tolnaftate special notes: this medication is prescribed for you're current condition only. do not use this for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require a different medicine.

If you missed Tolnaftate dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Tolnaftate Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from gettin wet. don't store in the bathroom. Keep out of reach about children.
