Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling & itching of the eye (ophthalmic).
How to use Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate: Use this as prescribed. To apply eye medication, wash hands 1st. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip or let this touch the affected area to avoid contamination. Shake suspension form well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. watch downward and gently close some your eye since 1 to 2 minutes. If you using another kind of eye med, wait five to ten minutes before applying.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate side effects: the side effects listed assume short-term use of it medication. this medication may temporarily sting when first applied. If it persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye medication. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, redness or swelling in or around the eyes. Very unlikely effects: persistent vision problems, watering eyes, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your physician: any allergies, infections, eye problems. Using contact lenses during treatment with this drug may increase chance of developing an eye infection. Prolonged use may result in glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye problems. Consult your doctor or physician. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult your doctor if breast-feeding.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate drug interactions: Tell your doctor about all prescription and nonprescription medication you use. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate special notes: If the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult you're doctor.
If you missed Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
