Ex Dec Tr Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Ex Dec Tr: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Its recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking it medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase dose or take this more frequently then recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Ex Dec Tr side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.
Ex Dec Tr Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional some your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding. don't give it medication to children younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by doctor.
Ex Dec Tr drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure pills, anti-seizure meds, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, another cold or allergy pill. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Ex Dec Tr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Ex Dec Tr dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Ex Dec Tr Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
